North Stars defense was a key factor in ending Letterkenny’s fantastic start to the season. Going into the game Blaze where averaging 81 ppg, however North Stars excellent team defense would hold them to 24 points below their season average.
Exceptional perimeter shooting from Kevin Stanley and Strong inside play from Neil McLaughlin and Paul McGuinness ensured a balanced attack. While Blaze picked up the pressure in the second half, Hugh Barbour continued to control the Derry attack.
